Atención gamers, porque pronto se vienen los “Oscars de los videojuegos” y ya tenemos la lista de nominados en estos Game Awards 2020. ¿Estará tu favorito entre ellos?
Creados por el periodista Geoff Keighley, los Game Awards se vienen realizando desde el año 2014 y se han llegado a convertir en el evento más importante de la industria del entretenimiento. Este año, la ceremonia llegará a nosotros en formato coronavirus el jueves 10 de diciembre, donde podrás ver el streaming de Los Ángeles, Londres y Tokio en resolución 4K UHD.
Los títulos nominados son escogidos por distintos medios internacionales y expertos en videojuegos, de los cuales un grupo de jurados y fanáticos de todo el mundo determinan al gran ganador. Este año, se agregó una nueva categoría que busca premiar a los desarrolladores de software/hardware que, al final del día, son quienes hacen que el juego exista. ¿Cómo no se les consideró antes?
The Last of Us ll: El regalón de la premiación
Lo sabemos. Hay ciertas cosas de este título que nos terminaron decepcionando y otras nos parecieron un poco ilógicas, pero no puedes negar que la jugabilidad, la gráfica y la innovación lo hacen merecedor de todos los puestos en la lista. “The Last of Us ll” tiene 10 nominaciones a la Game Awards y podemos ver su nombre en Mejor Dirección de Arte, Dirección de Juego, Banda Sonora, Mejor Narrativa, y así suma y sigue, llegando incluso a pelear por ser el gran Juego del Año. Aunque de pelear nada, ya que normalmente quien tiene más nominaciones se lleva el premio gordo. Nosotros le daríamos el premio al mejor juego de la vida.
Por otro lado tenemos a alguien que le hace frente a Naughty Dog y que se merece todo en cuanto a Dirección de Arte se refiere: “Ghost of Tsushima”. El samurai de Sucker Punch está compitiendo en 7 categorías, y obviamente, está postulando para graduarse como Juego del Año. Sin duda es un juego hermoso, visualmente es una obra maestra, ¿pero tendrá todo para coronarse como ganador?
La gran sorpresa la trajo Nintendo, quien con “Animal Crossing: New Horizon” busca a codazos ser el juego del año en estos Game Awards 2020. El exclusivo de la compañía que simula la vida fue sin duda el juego de la cuarentena, vendiendo millones de copias en todo el mundo llegando incluso a agotar consolas Switch. ¡Imagina que hasta a manifestaciones virtuales pudimos asistir!
